Yesterday I felt well enough to leave the house! I'm having some side effects from the neurontin where my eyes roll up in my head sometimes giving me double vision, so I've been taking a bit less of it. Anyhow, for obvious reasons I can't drive at the moment. Anyhow, my sister took me out to see The Princess and the Frog. We both LOVED it. It is stunning. The music, the art, the story, just all of it. While Jafar is the criminal and the servant guy is exactly the same one as in Enchanted and every other cliche disney film where there is a floundering fat guy servant, the rest is truly unique and amazing. I'll get it on DVD for sure. I relate to Tiana who is a hard worker and goal oriented. It is a very lovely film and I like it in the way I liked Enchanted.|
Then we went and had a burger. It was very nice. I also had 30 minutes today out of pain. It was awesome. I'm working from home so I'd better go get to it. Hope you all had a great weekend. Ten shopping days until Christmas. Get on it!
Yay! I'm so glad you got to go have fun. I want to see this one, too - think boys would like it? (Boys who love disney movies and Enchanted?)
Yes! It's really fun and colorful and the music is great and uplifting.

Man I'm glad things are looking even slightly up for you but that eye roll thing - scary!!!
Love you dear.
I love you too! In good news I haven't gotten the double vision today, so that's a relief. I go back to work in person tomorrow, so I'm excited about that.
Lanette...I hope you get better soon! I havent seen your journal for the last few days...sorry to hear about all the &*@$#^ in your life lately--You take care of yourself. You WILL get through this
*hugs* Thank you Len. Today was my first day back at work (from home), so I am on the mend. Slowly but surely making progress.
YAY for feeling better!! I haven't been commenting much, but you've been in my thoughts...I've heard from various sources that shingles ain't no joke (and ain't for wimps)...'course we all know you ain't no wimp...
I'm so glad you're on the mend!
It is great to be feeling well enough to work. Reminds me of how much working helps me keep my mind off of the pain though, so I do need to find another job. :)
I'm so sorry about the neurontin. Kim had terrible side effects with it... I don't recall them all, but it was enough that she couldn't take it, and they said over and over it would have really helped her if she could tolerate it. Bleh.
Have you ever noticed that Disney villainesses used to be stick thin, but things have been proceeding in the opposite direction, with Ursula, for instance, being very overweight.
The Disney villian is super thin and the helpful and wonderful voodoo goodess is overweight in this cartoon.
