If it was Tuesday, boots would be my Tuesday appreciation.

When I was obese I had a girlfriend who used to wear dresses that hit just above the knee along with boots that came up to just under the knee. I thought it was sassy and sexy and adorable and wished I could wear something like that.

That's exactly the outfit I wore yesterday. And it was just as awesome as I'd imagined when I was obese. :-D

I have some adorable boots, but they are a bit too high heeled. I need some slightly lower ones that I love so I can wear them in days when in pain still.

I got mine at the Easy Spirit outlet store. Just enough heel to not look weird, but a very low and chunky heel.

I love socks like that. Are they giving and forgiving around the calf?

I wouldn't know? I think they would fit up to about a 17" calf in circumference but not much more.

I thought maybe you could tell by the fabric they're made of...

They go up to my mid kneecap and fit loosely around the calves. Mine are I think about 14-15"? All of the stuff from that site is Jrs, so I wouldn't count on it, but since the material is thin it could work? It's cheap to send back socks if they don't work. Also I like the lack of elastic on top, so I say give it a try although it might end up making them too short to be useful for some wider calves as it isn't designed for them like some of the socks on sockdreams.com. Hope that makes sense.
