I remember that at the beginning he wasn't really into it, until Sarah got all up on him about it. She was very skilled at weaving their attraction to each other together with his passion for the cause. I think once Jason saw what they really were and that they were holding his sister captive, that snapped him out of it.
That makes some sense, but I think if he'd waited a few episodes to apologize to bill it would have made more sense than RIGHT after being just about ready to kill a vampire for God?

That's true. Maybe he was trying to make it clear whose side he was on. Not sure I'd want Vampire Bill pissed off at me for too long, especially when all the other vamps were trying to figure out how to deal with the FotS.
True true! Also it allowed Eric to save Sookie for the bullet chest sucking bit.
I just shrugged that off as Jason not being too bright.
I'm done with this whole Marianne thing, I wish it had been over a few episodes ago, *sigh*
agreed...and the storyline with her in the books is way more minimal....and not at all what they are portraying on the show.
I know. I heard that Alan Ball just really liked the character in the books and decided to expand on her, but I don't like how it's taken up so much of the story line. It's almost so much that it's not been a show about vampires this season.
I agree. I think they have spent way too much time on Marianne and it's really taken away from developing the relationship with the Bill/Sookie/Eric triangle thing.
And the Bill/Sookie/Eric thing is what I LOVE!
That's why most people watch I think. I'm tired of seeing so much Tara and Eggs and not enough Lafayette.
THIS! I love Lafayette and since he's still alive I want MORE.
Ditto on Lafayette..big time...love him!
Did you just die when Eric smiled to the side when Sookie was sucking the bullets out of him?
I was just like...ahhh..sweet sweet Eric Northman...to paraphrase Starry here...Le Sigh :)
Oh yes! He put his arm behind his head and gave that sly satiated smile, I just about died. I think I embarrased my husband, my friend and her man who we watch the show with too. *lol*

Re: julia and I love project runway!!!
That's so cool! Do you have a youtube video of it? You sent me that one video of Julia but I could not get it to play.
Hmmmm...but isnt that part of the charm of Jason Stackhouse? That he is so pulled on a whim to change his mind? I might slightly slightly argue that they are trying to build his character a little after the whole Sookie/Jason convo where she told him to use his brain? I totally see where you are coming from...if he really had been so implicitly brainwashed he wouldn't have changed his mind in a second. But as Sookie says in the books..the only thing that Jason Stackhouse cares most about is Jason Stackhouse...so him turning so quickly once challenged by the COL might slightly be believeable, under those terms....slightly.
They're also starting to blend stories from the later books into Season two. I wonder why? Because if they cancel this series..which I think would be stupid...there's a lot of unanswered questions left. But HBO has cancelled amazing series in the past for no good reason i.e. Deadwood (oh sweet Tim Oliphant and Ian McShane..let me count the ways). At any rate...knowing there are only 2 epidsodes left I'm imposing a ban on myself from reading further Sookie books and waiting till the series is over to read more of them because I'll need something to sustain me between seasons
Naw,..to me, having grown up in a religious cult I know how people leave and THIS fast way changing on a whim isn't it. If it had happened over a few weeks it would make sense. I mean him leaving in light of what happened and all of the scenes with Sookie happening FIRST really would be good. Then the talk with Bill after that, and after rearranging his priorities to take better care of her.
They won't cancel True Blood. They have been already approved for another season. It's their top show for viewers.
Yay! Good...i can't wait for next season then :D
They are already filming season 3. There are 2 more episodes of season 2, and season 3 airs starting in December.
Jason and I started PR together last week. He wanted to watch with me! I was so excited because I'd never watched before but heard it was good and decided to give it a whirl. We enjoyed it and I think it will be a fun activity for us.
Craig was cracking up. He couldn't watch the whole thing, but some of it. I put a pillow in my belly and showed off. It was goofy.
I'm hoping Jason will stick with it cause he's artistic and likes the creating process. We'll see.
OH! On TB, I'm hoping Marianne is killed off in the finale. I'm over her.
