We adopted 2 cats on the way home today. The kitty who chose us won't be coming home until Tuesday as she needs her foot looked at by the vet. Her name is Stardust. Both cats are just the sweet, cuddly, kind cats we'd been looking for and I'm so glad to welcome them to our family. Stardust is 2 years old and Tizzy is going to be 6 in August.
This is Tizzy, who is sweet and calm.
Tizzy came home today and she is afraid and hiding right now.
Real pictures from us as soon as she is less scared.
This is Stardust who is the most cuddly and affectionate kitty ever! She was on my lap every second possible.
She is much prettier than this sad photo, but I'll take a new one when she gets here on Tuesday. They aren't related, but they were living in the same room together peaceably, so we know they get along ok with one another.
I love these cats! I wish my home was more condusive to animals, as I grew up with a zoo. It is kind of funny, as Julia(my daughter) was begging for an animal, and I told her the reality/responsibility of having pets and she begrudgenly accepted it. No sooner after that she decided to adopt 2 gay boys, and for the last 4 months, we have been living with these 2 "pets" and their associated friends! I should have agreed to a small puppy or kitten as it would have been far less expensive and messy. OMG Lanette, I was under the impression that gays typically were fastidious and creative(I know, stereotype) Well, essentially these boys are lazy pigs! No job, no life...essentially gay bums.
Humans are the most expensive pets of all! I know what you mean. I didn't know that there was an "adopt a gay" program? It sounds like great fun, although it is sad that your boys are devoid of creative talent so far. Hopefully they will discover some in all of their spare time that they currently have. :)
