Craig signed up for our second family plan which was a riot. He said my iPhone takes calls and a diamond ring doesn't. ROFL.
Craig looked at me yesterday with the sweetest expression and said, "Lanette-a-choo. I choose you!" I giggled of course and said, "Craigy-poo. I choose you!" It was our family plan cell phone vow I think.
I'm in LOVE with my new iPhone. I got the $99 one because I plan to get a new phone next year that has Flash Player 10 on it so I can test my actionscript 3 on it that I'm working so hard on. I'm so glad I got the iPhone.
Craig got the Fuse. He likes it, but even HE has to admit that the UI for the iPhone is amazing and it is SO fun to play with. I don't think I'll ever go back to any other cell phone again and that is after just one day.
Then I saw his office and I'm SO jealous. They have their own SHOPPING MALL with fountains at Microsoft. You know all the perks we used to have? Even with the layoffs they have all of that and more and I'm JEALOUS of the connector service and I hate my commute. Never before have I wanted to work there and now I see the Bing team and how cool Craig's new job is and he is actually working less hours and is less stressed than I am and I'm green with envy. At least my iPhone rocks. I put a photo of a diamond ring on it. *giggles*
Ok, gotta run.
I STILL feel that way even now and I got mine on Valentines day :)
It's really a life changing device. NOW I get it. I'm sold. That's it. It won me over within 1 minutes.
Come on now, even you liked it. :)
I worked virtually yesterday so did not see this first hand, but my boss told me about it today when I returned to the office. Apparently, our Microsoft neighbors (next building over from mine in Bellevue) had an outdoor celebration in their parking lot. Get this: they had blow up slides and those bouncy castles to jump around in and games and lots and lots of food & drink. Hearing this, made me green with envy.
Totally jealous. I want yummy drinks and an air conditioned van to come pick me up and take me to work. Craig doesn't even take it, but he COULD and it's really just 5 minutes away to where the connector would pick him up.
I would totally take the Connector as well. I wish Boeing had the same program. We just have van pools but there's nothing close to my house so I can't take advantage of that.
They are flat out lucky. Also, all the talk about the crazy hours? Well, I work way more than Craig does lately. It's hard to fault MS. They have some great medical care too.
Glad you are happy with your iPhone!
I have so many usability problems with the iPhone. I think the UI is awful (and so is windoze mobile's UI, sigh! I am just very happy with android for me-- and the hardware keyboard on my g1). ;)
I really, really like the MS insurance plan coverage. I have Coordination of Benefits -- so they are my (completely free!) supplemental coverage for anything my employer's insurance (which is my primary insurance) doesn't cover. It is awesome.
N doesn't take the Connector either!
Glad you like the G1. I looked at the other phones but I'm so thrilled so far. Now we'll see if I start complaining later. :)
I'm glad you're happy with it!
I keep trying to use friend's iPhones and I get frustrated every time I play with them (but clearly everyone who has one doesn't have a problem), so I think there's something about the GUI that doesn't mesh with me. :)
I've loved the mac UI since OSX came out and all the way back to OS 7.1 in the olden days, so maybe that's why I love it?
I miss my iPhone so bad :[ When I first got it, it worked BEAUTIFULLY, then one day, I just randomly stopped getting service. Apple replaced it twice, and still no dice. I couldn't stand not having a phone that worked so I switched to Verizon :[ Everytime someone talks about their phone I get little pangs of jealousy, lol!
