This is an awesome Swedish Vampire movie, but there is this scene where a lady gets bitten and the cats find out and attack her that is suck a riot I laughed until I cried. I mean the computer generate cats just CHOMP on her and she goes flopping down the stairs. I watched it multiple times because it was so funny. I'm not sure why. The movie is kind of gross and sad, but also really interesting. Glad I watched it!
In other news, I've decided what I'm setting up as a prize for myself for reaching my July 4th goal. If I get back to the healthy BMI range by July 4th I'm buying myself an iPhone.
We watched that awhile back and loved it! Although the opening scene totally grossed me out, the movie had so many different elements to it that made it super interesting. Very, sad too. The cat attack was hysterical.
The iPhone sounds like a good prize!
I totally agree, the opening freaked me out, but it was so interesting and European. I was glad it wasn't subtitled though because I my eyes were too sore to read, so I preferred the overdubbing.
We watched the subtitled one. Damn, would have done the dubbing if I'd known it was decent.
They have it on netflix now! Totally worth another watch I think.
Well, it's not a deprivation so much as I like to set up prizes for myself that I wouldn't otherwise get myself based on reaching goals. Glad you like yours!
Those Swedish do have some odd films! You should watch "Storm" if you want to see another odd one. I also recommend Ondskan, a true story about a teenager who suffers abuse at a boarding school. But two cute, cute ones are: "Heartbreak Hotel" /http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0785002/
and "Grabben i Greven Bredvid" (The guy in the grave next door) /http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0298351/
Can you tell I used to have a movie loving Swedish penpal? :)
Oooh thanks for the suggestions.
I freaking loved that movie too, but now I don't remember how it started.
BTW...I think the iPhone is a perfect prize for reaching your goal. But, you have to promise that at least in the beginning, you'll end every blog with:
sent from my iPhone
Ahahaha! It starts with it snowing, and the older man in the woods ummmm draining a person?
I wanna iPhone!!!!
Wanna pay for college more. Now see, if I had enough money coming in that I could actually save some..........grrrrr.
Saving has gotten much harder for everyone, especially with the economy, but it's rough for those on a fixed income. If you can start really small, even with just 3% for a buffer, it can add up over time.
Maybe with me living at home for a while I can start saving. It would be nice to have a cushion to fall back on.
