|Stifled Laughs and Healthy Kitty!

First off, got the call from the Vet and Ashley's bloodwork came back as normal! So, they believe she is cured. I do need to follow up in 3 months.
Why are inappropriate laughs that you aren't allowed to have so dang funny. Like when my brother would cut loud farts during prayer at church convention and people were trying to ignore it.
Or like when I can't tell for sure if someone on my friends list is being serious or not, but their post is hilarious. One of my friends posted, "Why is love always like a battlefield?" I wonder if they know why that is such a riot and the fact I'm not sure made me not comment, but crack up at home, especially with the serious picture. I bet Pat Benetar was taking herself so seriously when she wrote that song. Today's youth amuse me, but I worry that they laugh too little and live in some serious times. When I think of the crap they identify with in Twilight, with some of the big dramatic music like we had back in the 90's with The Cure and Depeche Mode they have reincarnated with Muse and Evanescence (I know, that's old news but whatever). Being someone who can look back at my flock of seagulls hair all dressed up like The Cure it just delights me. This dramatic seriousness goes way back. My next door neighbor was a "waver" and I adored him. Huge red hair that looked like the Simply Red guy in the early days and the tapestry vests. *laughs* Yes, a dude in tapestry vests.
