The weekend was simply le awesome!
Wow! A blast!
I can't confirm or deny a trip to Powell's books where I may have gone slightly crazy and rolled around naked on a pile of books both new and used resulting in paper cuts and and arrest in the fantasy aisle. The line between fantasy and reality blurred as did the pages I was drooling on.
And then there was a wedding. Not mine, but I still wore lots of glitter and was adoring of our glowing bride.
Welcome back! I laughed seriously reading about your fantasy aisle drool-fest. You are too funny sometimes! :)
Ha ha..your rolling naked in the used books sounds like me when I visit our local Half Priced Books stores....or when I get extra credits on Paperbackswap.com.
Why thanks! I was unreasonably happy and shocked in the good way at the selection at Powell's.
Want me to send some neosporin for the paper cuts? I mean, been there done that....well, ok, maybe I haven't but Chuck and I do call Barnes and Noble "Smell Books", we go in through the Starbucks Cafe so I can get a venti sugar free vanilla or SF cinnamon dolce soy latte then we roam through the stacks, touching the vampire books lovingly. So...yeah...could our love of books be considered a fetish?
Bibliofilia I believe.
Better than being bibliophobic.
The horrors of being afraid of books, I would die. Seriously, books are my vacations.
I am the same way with any book.
It's worth it :)
Hey sweetie, I just changed my name, and managed to mess it up, and somehow kept all of *my* friends, but managed to make it so I was no longer *your* friend! If you want to, go and re-add me. If you don't, no harm, no foul...I'll remove you in a while..giving you time to get this message. I know that some of you don't read daily. Oh...I was thatkellygirl...you might want to know that!
Ooooohhhhhh Powell's.... *drool*
