I LOVE THE RED ONE!!
So stunning, Lanette!
I just LOVE me some Ross. Less than $50 for both dresses and I feel pretty and no longer afraid of a boob falling out of my outfit at the party. My sister was a saint, helping me zip a million holiday dresses to find just these 2. It was grueling work as there are SO many options. I had dresses from size 2 to size 12 fit. That's how OFF the dress sizes are. Argh. I ended up with the red one (size 8) and the black one (size 4) and the black one is looser? Go figure. Sizes make no sense to me, well especially at Ross. I suppose that's how some of the stuff gets there!
My sister got a beautiful teal dress that is sort of like my red one, but it has little short sleeves! It's adorable on her and shows off her shape really well. She's going to have to pin it so it doesn't show it "too well" but that's what we get with those cross over top dresses. :)
Are you keeping up with your eating? You look amazingly curvaceous. If you have been, hats off to you sister, with all the pain you've been in. I think I might spy a butt in there: a cute one. If you haven't been, then the dresses are even more spectacular than I already believe them to be. I have always envied your fashion sense (mostly because this whole, dressing like a girl thing only started for me after working with you at Adobe).
Not just seriously eating, but also unable to exercise for an entire month due to my silly toe surgery. While eating more is good, I miss having normal activity.
Thanks! I like these dresses.
Proving that redheads can look hot in red. Gorgeous!
Aww! Thanks you guys. I may post the first photo to the redheads group since you think so.
You look absolutely gorgeous in the red. I still wear red with my red hair, too... it's great to see you proving how awesome red hair and a red dress can be!
Thank you! I think the red looks really festive and matches the antique earrings well. The earrings were the one splurge and cost more than the dress, but they make me feel pretty even without the $450 dress which I will not purchase. I have a few wraps in mind to go over the dress. I should take some photos this week and a poll of which wrap or gloves go best with the red dress.
Gaw-jus, Dahlink. :)
I am going to feel festive AND appropriate in the top dress with my splurge antique earrings (as shown) from Langley (when we went to the Bed and Breakfast). The earrings were $40, and the dress was $25. ROFL! I have an antique purse from my great grandma that is a silver mesh that will go nicely with the outfit. I'm hoping to find a necklace to match and do my hair, and all told my entire outfit will be under $100 and I'll have fun.
Yay! I love it too. Redheads in red are rulebreakers all the way.
i love, love, LOVE the red one! you look AWESOME in it...it's a great dress on you.
