|Toe x-ray is perfectly normal

Now what? We can prove it is red, swollen, and painful and the joint is messed up.
3rd toe on my left foot. The "distal" or furthest joint towards the end get HUGE swollen, red, hot, and hurts to bend at all. Just the joint. None of the other toes are involved. It's often terrible in the morning for no reason.
Does the toe iteself look crooked or misshapen? Is it longer then the others? DOes it normally sit on top of either toe next to it, or get crammed into your shoe in a funny way? Does your toe bend under, keeping it from sitting flat on the ground?
I don't know what it is that's wrong with it, but they make cushions and such for problems like that. If you don't find something at your local pharmacy, footsmart.com has a great selection. COULD be hammertoe, but I would think your doc would have thought of that.
You know I have lots of foot problems. I have had good luck with the brand Profoot Care
Also, I can't push those Yoga Toes enough!
Also, you may have broken it at some point, and really, there's nothing you can do about a broken toe except for your big toes. I actually broke my big toe back in college (dropped a crate of records on it) and never got it set - it still gives me problems to this day.
Nope, it's not hammertoe. It's shaped right. The joint itself is just swollen and angry. I've heard good things about yogatoes though!
I tell you what, even if they don't help that toe, they are HEAVEN. And they might even help with the sciatica a little, too!
If you buy them right from yogapro.com, they have a 90-day money back guarantee. Might be a few bucks more, but at least you can get a refund if you hate them!
I bought all the stuff you suggested! Right now I need all the help I can get.
Great! I hope they work out for you - they've all been a big help for me.
