All things considered, I decided these coats aren't good enough because the fabric isn't what I'd hoped for or expected. I don't need to settle. It's easy to fit my body now, so I need to keep looking. A few suggestions really caught my eye, but wouldn't work because of price. I just can't justify spending too much because it will just be for one season. Next summer I'll have plastics and I'm supposed to gain 10-15lbs this year (per both doctors). I know, you are all saying, "GAIN? But why?" Well, once my extra skin is gone I'll be about 5'7.5" tall and between 130-135lbs. That sounds perfect. It is a bit fat for a Hollywood model/actress, but I'm freaking 34 years old already and when I pledge allegiance to the flag I can feel all of my ribs. That's so not sexy. I'm aiming for 140-145lbs when all is said and done, which is a great healthy weight for a person doing hikes, dancing, and whatever else is fun in life that isn't just modeling clothes or looking nice in photos. Screw photos, I've got life to do. Besides, it's too easy for me to go all eating disorder and obsess and end up not eating and/or living just to get to 129lbs, blah blah. Both doctors talked and they like me gaining 10-15lbs this year so I'm going to the gym, eating more, and working on it. Ok, end that rant, on to more coats.|
This coat seems just what I'm looking for.
If I'd already had my plastics, I'd be all over this 1950's Princess Silk coat! However, it's 1" too small everywhere, but the dimensions are just right for me if it had an extra inch.
I am going to order this coat and see how it is in person. It's hard to find a good fit from a Juniors store with a bust like I have, but that won't stop me from trying.
I reeeeeally like that last one, the red one :)
I have already ordered it. Now, I hope it fits. This brand is notoriously anti-having boobs.
Yesh. These are much much better.
Well, they are much better on the models. Getting them on me is the real test. :) I can't get the top 2. 1 is expensive, 2 is too small.
I like the Pink one a lot.
MMe too. Want to pay for half of it so I can try it? ;)
Ha ha ha! That's my bank account laughing at you.
I love the Ralph Lauren one. Everything they put out fits so well, too.
Sheesh, your friends have expensive tastes! I really like the 1950s princess one, but they really expect someone to pay that much for a coat in that condition?
Why don't we go thrift store shopping? There's a great thrift store in Federal Way, maybe some day you could meet me there after work?
I'm hard to fit, so I must be able to return it. Ebay is a no.
I understand. I worry about that too. I'm jonesing for a thrift store and dollar store fix. Maybe you'd have some luck in a vintage/thrift shop.
I get it from the estimates of the surgeon. It depends what procedures they do, where you carried your weight, what you have left, and what you get done.
Also, I've lost 170lbs total, not 110lbs, so I may have more extra tissue to remove.

p.s. The loss after plastics generally isn't what they take off immediately. If you notice, after the PS she did lose more.
I have to tell you, I LOVE these compared to the purple and black ones. I will keep my fingers crossed on the red one -- it is super cute.
is definitely the best of the three.
