|Weight and other blabbering

Pain is getting a bit better! I got a good night sleep.
I took my Mom to see Enchanted on Friday and she just loved it! We also tried to find me some professional clothes. I got a blazer at Banana Republic outlet for $59 and an angora sweater. I also found a belt. I'm really hard to fit right now. I need size 8.5. Most of the size 10 clothes are too big, but most of the size 8 clothes, especially the really structured stuff, is too small in a few areas, especially the shoulders and chest. I scared my Mom by wearing a size M belt and being almost out of a M and into a small in some brands. She told me that my Sister-in-Law weighs 20lbs less than me, but is only 5'2" and she is one of the smallest persons I know. I think she is afraid I'm developing an eating problem. We talked about it. I told her, no, I'm not DEVELOPING and eating problem, I've had one for most of my life and I've made great progress with it. I've made my goal weight this year and am working with a trainer. Also, I'm trying to stop losing weight. I've lost less than 20lbs all year this year. Granted, it was the last 10lbs plus a few extra, and that's quite hard to do. Next year is going to be a huge challenge. Most people who start to regain weight after surgery do so in year 3. Some in year 2, true, but more in year 3. I feel like I've done really well. I have above average results, but I must focus this year on keeping my weight within a healthy range.
Bel is currently in my kitchen working her Southern Cooking magic! After the startling realization that despite much butter, I'm at my lowest weight ever of 13lbs under goal weight, she is making biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast (yum).
Who LOSES weight over the holidays when they aren't even working? Apparently the increased pain has been an eating problem.
We all played Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture DVD game last night. It was hilarious, especially when Craig lost a pie piece for blurting out, "I wanna rock."
Tomorrow I'll be carrying on the tradition of ringing in the new year with Foxy Roxy. Yes, it will be the third year in a row. Last year both couples were at The Vogue on their closing night. This year both couples have their own houses! We are going to spend the evening at their new home together. It makes me so happy. When Angela and I met we were both swinging singles. Well, not so much the swinging part, but still.
I got to hold Traven yesterday! It was so fun to hold him and to see how he looks at both of his parents. He's very cute and relaxed. He is a great baby to hang out with.
In other news, the Hawks are playing today in the tragic white pants. It's distracting in HD as you can see jockstraps through the pants. They need to line those or something. Bel comments that Kerney looks like he'd be a great lay. She is fun to watch football with.
I got the supplies at Hobbytown USA for my pinewood derby car and finished the design drawings last night. It will be painted in "purple burgundy Metallic Flake" with Gold accents. The theme is lipgloss. The name will be "Lanette's Lipgloss Limo".
In other news, I irresponsibly bought myself and iPod shuffle in purple. Her name is Penny. I just realized I can't reliably workout without my tiny little music player. Also, I had a coupon from Best Buy so it only cost me $28. Also, I'm pretty much out of money right now, but it will be ok. I have a great feeling about 2008. 2007 was the best year ever for me in every single way, and I feel like next year will be even better.
