totally... I thought, how stupid to spend so much money on a TV? but WOW nothing like it.. EVER! ;) the stand is cool, looks much like the one we have, such a dust collector though.
Craig and I have been talking about getting a big screen for months, and it was on sale today, so $400 less than our budget, which is fortunate since we needed to buy the stand it goes on. I think I am going to love having that television and the stand will match it quite well.
I'm sorry I did not make it. I sent my husband out of the house for four hours yesterday so I could have alone time for the first time in weeks. I needed to breathe, be alone, and basically sleep most of this weekend.
I hope to catch you next time. And congrats again on hitting goal weight. I know how hard you've worked, before, during and after surgery. You are awesome. But then you probably already know that.
Thanks! I understand this concept of introverted people, but have no personal experience in needing time to recharge. I require fun to recharge. Hopefully you can come see the house at some point.
I am thrilled with the goal weight!
I'm actually not an introvert--usually people are how I recharge. However, I'm finding that when I get too much of people (which is sort of my day job right now) I need cave time to recover. I come home and shut myself in for a half hour in the evening, during which time David isn't allowed to ask me any questions.
The team at work is reshaping a bit so that I don't have to be hte central authority for everything (yay!) and this should help, but for the last few weeks I get peopled out pretty fast.
Holy Crap. That is some serious tv.
It's HUGE. We went to see it in person.
I am SOOOOO coming over to watch football at your place!
Yay! I'll let you know when it is installed. :)
p.s. I need your fax number. I have proof of alarm system now.
I thought you guys weren't going to do it??? 253-925-2239
Well, I wasn't, but the choice was up to Craig and they changed the deal some I guess, or something like that.
Well, you guys DO live in a nice neighborhood, so people looking to steal are going to be looking in those kinds of neighborhoods. Since it's already done, at least you can get a discount on your insurance.
Yes! Plus, it will be nice before the big screen to have it enabled.
We have a 55", and now going over the friends and family to hang out is wierd watching tv...funny how 30" seemed HUGE a year ago! *LOL* I will agree with Teddyeddy though, the stands are indeed horrid dust collectors! I'm hoping to get a wood "enclosed" entertainment center for ours. http://www.homefurnituremart.com/waunge1.html Like that. But won't even think of doing it until we're in the new house. You'll love it! We actually bought ours because we got a Wii, and John was complaining that he could barely see the tennis ball! *LOL*

We got ours for the Xbox :) but the Wii is great on it as well!
Next time I will purchase a different stand that is for sure!
We have huge speakers in the room, so we can't fit an enclosed item like that in our family room, thus the dust will be an annoyance. |
