Tattoo's, starting to get over it. [Aug. 9th, 2007|08:46 am]

So many of them just look bad after 10 years. I see so many arm bands now and just think they look unfortunate and common.

I love my back tattoo, but it may be time to let it go. I'm thinking I want to get my ankle tattoo redone, but really, removed might be the right answer for me. I don't think there is anything I could get that wouldn't be bigger, darker, and garish that would still cover it.

If there is one good thing I've learned it is that feelings change. I'll be myself forever, but it is impossible to predict how you will feel. This makes me officially old, and I don't mind. If I get something else injected into my skin it will be to fill wrinkles, not ink. Ha!

Yeah, the one by my ankle is pretty messed up because of how the guy who did it made these big thick black lines and now they're bleeding:( I love my other two though, and I, like you, was smart enough to get them in places that don't sag. Lan is thinking twice about our rings being tattooed on because he doesn't want to have to redo them every 10 years. Whiner! We'll do it anyway or he'll be stuck with a whiny wifey. *giggles*

Yeah, we went to the same guy and it was SO long ago. Mine has held up ok, I guess, but I don't like the dots in the background. Maybe I'll take a photo of it and send it to my artist in Portland to see what she can do with it. If i could turn it into jewelry looking stuff I'd like it still.

I think that when I first got that one done I WANTED thicker lines. Unfortunately no one told me what it would do 15 years later :S
