You could totally rock the #1
bob. Or the #2
. I think they're the same anyway.
Every girl has said yes. Every boy has said no. Argh.
I am going to ponder it until march, but if I still really want this in March, it's on!
boys love longer hair and that is why. My ex tried the same thing on me, saying he wanted me to grown my hair out until he realised I looked better with the short hair.
My hair has been under a whole lot of stress this year with all of the weight loss, so that is part of why I want to cut it. My May surgery also risks thinning it a bit more, so shorter would be better I think.
I kind of like my hair long too, but I wonder, will the bob make me look older? Or does the fact that the back is getting kind of thinner than I'd like make me look older? I mean,. I'm only 32, but I still do get carded all of the time. I'm not afraid of looking 32, but I don't want to look 40, if you know what I mean.
Honestly, I believe you can pull off a short cut you should do it. I think really you look wonderfully young. And the thiness, it can be fixed with leaving it fuller in the back or even, go for an inverted bob (making it shorter in the back, longer in the front
You have great cheek bones to pull off say a meg ryan cut or even something with bangs in the front and longer in the back (I think I am thinking asley judd) but you do have great feature to pull off shorter hair.
and also to add to this, if your hair has been under stress, maybe it is time to chop some weight off.....it will grow back!! If you are feeling healthy why shouldn't your hair even if it means getting rid of some length for a while. It's not like it will be gone forever.

Re: Here is the last time I had shortish boblike hair
Seriously?! Weird. Boys like long hair though.
You completely have the face for a short hair cut!!(and I should know!!) It makes your neck soooo slim looking and really brings out your cheek bones and your eyes!
But then I must also say I am soooo envious of your beautiful lush red hair!
you most definitely look cute with a bob
My neck is pretty tiny now! It's weird. I can wear teenybopper necklaces and many times I find chokers too big, but even before I lost weight I could wear "normal" chokers, so I guess I've always kind of had a small neck, legs, and arms (so basically fat goes to the center of the body and my cheeks/chins).
Everyone always loves other peoples long hair, living with it is another story. If your wish is for another hairstyle, I say go for it. Cutting your hair will not make you less sexy, or beautiful.. it is an accessory, that will highlight you no matter it's style.
I couldn't agree with you more.
Craig saw the photo of me with the "former shorter hair" and actually said it was cute! I'm kind of excited about donating my hair to locks of love too.
First, pick a style you like for YOU, no one else. You're the one who has to do it up each day!!
Second, my niece has a great short-style that I think would suit you very well. From the top-back of the head forward it is long, all one length, at chin level. The back of it is all cut very short and spiked up. It is SOOOOO easy to do, but since she got her hair cut like this about 6 months ago I'm starting to see it in a lot of places (she 'designed' the style herself and took it to the hairstylist to have done...) Its absoultely adorable and you could easily pull it off.
I'm trying to figure out how to upload a picture of it. Will come back when I do. :)
I have measured my hair, and if I do an inverse bob (which I'm almost certain I really would love), I will have 10" natural hair to donate to locks of love! My Grandma died of cancer and it would make me feel so good to be able to do something good for kids with cancer when I get my hair cut.
You do like this
Then around it you have the pacman, so Less than at the start, greater than at the end.
That hairstyle is ADORABLE! I do know though, my hair is curly with too many callucks (sp?) to do that style.
Her hair is naturally curly too.. and also cowlicky (sp?!?!?) too. She straightens the front pieces with a ceramic straightener, then just puts goo in the back and blow dries it up. The great thing about it is its SUPPOSED to look kinda messy and wild in the back. Then she's DONE. If I could pull off a short style (I can't... it makes me look OLD, and I'm only 32 for god's sake!) I would do it in a second. It was getting a little long in this picture, and she has it cut about every 2 months, but it is so very easy.
Good luck with your decision!
I'm also 32. I'm pretty sure that
is my new hairstyle!
BTW, thanks, I wasn't sure if LJ used regular HTML tags or not. Guess so! :)
Sorry for the really broken down description you didn't need. *blush* I wasn't sure if you knew any HTML.
