[Current Mood |cheerfulcheerful]

I finished New Moon last night. I suppose that means I have to get the next book. Le sigh. ;) I'm worried about my old kitty Ashley as she is peeing 8-12 times per day. I need to get her into the vet. She is going to turn 17 years old this summer, but I want her to be healthy and happy, so I need to figure out what I can do to help with that.

I wanted to share with you my happy but somewhat chunkier self. Craig is SO SWEET. I'm about 5lbs over goal weight and I was saying, "Wow, come cuddle my somewhat chunkier self!" He told me that he likes it and is actually even more attracted to me than when I was at my thinnest weight. I sort of agree. I feel more like a woman at a size 6/8 than I did at a 2/4. Plus, cuddling feels so much better and being in less pain is awesomely worth it! (the two are only slightly related, but the meds do make maintaining a very low weight harder). While I have a hard year of work ahead of me, this is the healthiest I've been! I'm in the normal BMI range and for once, feeling quite good physically.

I think you look really good. I haven't been comfortable sharing that I thought you'd been looking a wee bit ... I dunno, bony? in some previous shots. I am surprised that 5lb can make that visible a difference?

Well, from my very lowest weight (which was quite a bit under my goal), I'm 24lbs more, so quite a bit. That's good because I was throwing up a ton when I was that low and I was actually underweight. I'm over my actual goal by 5lbs, so I would like to drop those, but mostly I'm just thrilled to finally be feeling healthy and in less pain. The last 10lbs I've gained though you can tell a big difference.

Oh, now the visible different makes much more sense!

At my smallest I could see all the ribs through the front of my chest. I also would hurt my hips to just even lay down on most beds due to the bones being so prominent. While I could use to lose the extra 5lbs of vacation and other unneeded snack eating, I like it much more than how very thin I was for awhile because it's nice to not feel as weak and ill.

It isn't so much that I love the Twilight series, it's that I'm now addicted to the storyline despite much of the series making me roll my eyes due to teen angst. While it won't make the list of my favorite fantasy series of all time, I must indeed finish them all!

I felt the same way reading.. I was like I cannot believe I am this addicted to this story line!
I blamed PP.
I read all 4 in those weeks zander was in the hospital after birth.. twilight and new moon in those 2 days I was at the hospital and he was at the other and I needed a distraction...

I even read the leak of midnight sun..

I LOVE Karen Marie Moning! And she writes some of the hottest sexiest scenes. She's going to a dark place with the Fae Fever series with Max and Barrons, much less sex, and she warned us from the beginning they weren't romances. But I still love her and can't wait for the next installment.

Thanks! I like being a bit softer, but you will see panic if it keeps climbing.

As soon as you are able, I would get kitty to the vet. UT infections are very common older cats. Peeing often is the first sign.

P.S. I think you look great, very happy and healthy. :)

Yeah, I was so tired of throwing up, feeling weak, and not having the energy to stay up past 8pm. It's WAY better now, so I'm thrilled.

I will freak out about weight if it keeps creeping up. It's up to me to figure out this maintaining stuff and not go crazy on either side.

i also agree that you look great! at the same time i understand your desire to lose those 5 to get back into your safe range too. i had a similar experience (hit low weight while ill, realized it was too low, gained back to my revised goal when i got better) but unfortunately i failed and just kept gaining after i got back to my goal.

Thanks! You had a baby too though, right? That is more of a challenge.

I was too thin but it's super hard to control. It took me medication changes and effort to get back to a more normal (less emaciated) size, but now it's really hard to stay at a size.

Thanks! I think the less pain really shows in person. It's fun to have other thoughts besides "Owwww!"

Thank you! It was wonderful to be in less pain on a vacation too. Travel in Belize is not easy, and travel even within the US is hard on my body, but what a difference!
