I love my boys [Feb. 25th, 2009|01:40 pm]

Did you guys know Midnight purrs in his sleep? It's SO cute.

Craig came downstairs this morning to hug me and said, "MMMMmmmmmm. YUM! Now, do you want to show me your boobies?"

I looked at him like he was crazy, "Not really. I'm dirty."

Our life together is so simple but happy. I know that makes me lucky. A peaceful home is easy to take for granted.

Thanks :) I read in one of your posts that you have chronic pain. Can I ask what it is you have? I have Fibro as well as Mixed Connective Tissue Disease.

I have endometriosis (level 3 out of 4) and right leg neuropathy from the waist down to the toe which has been a major ongoing issue. I'm thrilled to report that finally for the first time in a LONG while, my pain is stable and has improved! I'm at pain level 5 average, down from 7, so it's making a huge difference. I have a great doctor who specializes in pain management, so that really helps.

That is great! Chronic pain really is a terrible thing. I am glad to hear that it's becoming less painful. I need to find a good doctor who specializes in pain management. I see a Rheumatologist now but what he has offered hasn't helped much.

It has taken me months and months to finally get stable again. Each time the pain has gotten worse I've had to work hard to get it stable, but it's worth it. I highly suggest a pain management specialist as it makes a big difference to have help managing the pain.

I am going to look into it. The Rheumy I see is very old school and doesn't seem to keep up with the medical times. Thanks for the advice.
