Things are looking up! [Jan. 31st, 2009|01:07 pm]

I think Craig likes long hair. He keeps telling me I'm pretty. :) It's very sweet. I also think he likes that I've put on enough weight that it no longer hurts when he tosses an arm across me because of my ribs and hip bones. I like that too! Also, my pain levels are so much lower that the price I have to pay of being totally exhausted and basically passing out by 10pm every night is well worth it. I have to give 10 hours or more to sleep each night, but it's worth it when I wake up in less pain.

Also, I put together our bills for the last year and really really looked at them. The worst case scenario, we STILL won't lose our home. We are going to be alright, even if Craig has to go on unemployment. I mean, there will be no luxuries, vacations, ect, but we can make it.

Also, I'm thrilled to report that I'm feeling better. Thank you so much for your kind words, encouragement, and flat out faith in us. It really helps.

There is also negotiating with your morgage company, if times are tight.

They can sometimes refinance, skip a payment or two and add them on to the end of the loan, reduce your rate. Give me a call if you want some more info.

*hug* Thanks! We are better off to stay since we have a pretty good rate and we aren't going to miss any payments. We're lucky that we bought a house that we could afford.

It's a huge relief to just know that right now the worst case still isn't that bad.

I'm so glad that you're feeling better and that things seem a little more secure. I hate this economy and what it's doing to people.

Thanks! It's good to know that even in the worst case, if he can't get another job for a long time, we still don't need to lose our home.

Ted Bundy was working with more Charisma and over all social wooing than Craig though, I hate to break it to ya. ;)

Did I miss something? Is it for sure that Craig will be laid off? Do you have a date that his job goes away and do you know for sure that he's not going to be moved to a different area of the company? Or are you just being Joyce-like and worrying?

It is for sure that his job is ending. His entire studio was closed.

He is looking for a job, but his job is ending in 2-3 more months for sure. There is only one job open that fits his skill set, so there is hope, but not really many open jobs right now.

I have faith that they will see what a great employee Craig is and give him that one open job OR that he will apply for jobs that are a bit outside of his comfort zone and do something new. Go Craig!
