That's exactly the sort of outfit I wanted to wear for the symphony this evening. I'll be right over to steal it!

*grins* The top was $1.99 at Ross on clearance and the skirt was $7.99 at Nordstrom Rack. Talk about your cheap outfit.

Thank you! Craig liked it. Now I'm in pajama bottoms though. Comfort over fashion.

You look awesome. Festive and pretty! And how do you make glasses look so good, btw? I rarely leave the house in glasses because I never feel like I look good or "put together" when I"m wearing them, but you totally pull it off!

Thank you! I love these frames. They are one splurge I'm glad I made because I had to pay $300 out of pocket, but now I've had the same frames since 2005 and don't intend to change them out anytime soon. These are the only glasses I have had that I feel are fun.

I think you would look nice in vintage frames. Maybe even red or purple? Have you ever tried frames that were a bright color?

No, those came with them. I had to readd them as they fell out though.

I've mostly worn black frames since I became an adult. I really actually kind of like the frames I have now, but I still rarely leave the house wearing them. They're, very roughly, about the same shape as yours, but with no bling. It's actually really difficult for me to spend much on glasses since I usually only wear them at home, and since my insurance is set up in such a way that if I use it to buy my glasses they not only won't pay at all toward my contact that year, but won't pay toward them the next year either.

I actually bought them at $39glasses.com. A friend recommended it to me, or I probably would have been dubious about using the site. However, because they were so very inexpensive I have thought, seriously, about getting a red pair, too! I haven't seen any on the site with the cool bling yours have, but they do usually offer red.

Hmmmm.... maybe post Christmas....

It's great that they have such affordable options. They only have one pair of frames total on the whole site with rhinestones and they are metal and I don't care for them personally much. I wear mine at work all of the time, so I was ok with investing a bit more. Also, I don't have any contact lenses at all, so it's my only eye care expense.

I think these would look cool on you!
