Yay! [Sep. 16th, 2008|01:17 pm]

Good company results. This means 10% quarterly profit sharing. That will be HUGE for me at this time. :)

I have on my "presenting shoes" right now. I'll have to take a picture.

My entire wardrobe that currently fits me is 5 shirts, 1 skirt, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 sweaters and 1 pair of slacks. I hope to buy a winter coat and a few dresses that fit with the money when it comes in, and maybe get the dent in my car fixed if I have enough.

My muscles still hurt from yesterday (boo). I want to like Physical Therapy. It is making me better, I'm just tired of hurting. Time to be TOUGH (not whiny baby pee pants).

Would you need a small or medium in a coat? In number sizes maybe 6 or 8? -- oh, in Victoria's Secret sizes that is... I over-did-it on the wool winter coats last spring, probably could spare one for you for what I paid ($45)

:)

I'm in a size 4, so need size SM but it depends on the chest measurement. I measure 38" 29" 36" right now.

Well, I definitely don't have any that are size 4 however, they have already brought out coats at the MJR warehouse. Although from week to week, I never know which coats will be available in what sizes & colors, they are all very pretty and well tailored. To get an idea of what's there, go to http://search.victoriassecret.com and search for "wool coat" -- chances are that some of these will be there on Thursday when I go. And I could get you one for $30-45, brand new, usually with tags.

I love the coat I have so much, I may just buy it again in a smaller size. Check out http://www.overstock.com/Clothing/Anne-Klein-Peacoat-with-Half-Curved-Seams/2573957/product.html

That is the PERFECT coat for me and I also need the hood with how much it rains here. The money is coming soon and tthey have size sm and I know the fit is right for my body.

You definitely look great in that coat - and the length really flatters your awesome-looking legs! Have you considered getting yours tailored? Much cheaper than buying new (but of course I know that we all like new stuff!)

That's a great idea! I was thinking about it, but I"m also hoping to regain some weight. I wonder if they can tailor what I have so that the extra fabric is hidden in case I need it let out in the future?

I'm sure they can hide fabric, but it may look bulkier than you'd want. On the other hand, you could tailor it to where it's a little loose now and would be a bit more fitted later (like to a size 4-6, instead of a solid 4). And really, if you gain a little weight by mid-winter - THEN you can use that excuse to buy a fresh coat to send you into Spring!

and it's funny that you mentioned a hood - this is the only style I don't yet have that I've been keeping an eye out for:
