My Mom bought me these jeans. I like the shiny button tabs. The hoodie also has funky lining and silver tipped bits on it. The jeans were Tommy Hilfiger brand, so my Mom paid a huge $27.99, which for Ross is expensive. The hoodie was $12.99, so more in my budget this month. I also got a silk and cashmere sweater for $9.99 and a cotton one for $4.99. Going in to fall is a bit rough with all of the financial stuff going on and I can't wear anything from last year now. Medium isn't doing the trick anymore. Now that the swelling is down, the size 6 stuff I have is too big. If you see good deals, be on the lookout. Lots of people outgrow small stuff because they get older or have a baby or something, so if you see free or cheap warm stuff, let me know.

Do you guys want to see a full size of the poster print in the background? It's a testing event poster I designed. It's so colorful it hurts. Mostly it's a series of more gradients than you've ever seen in one poster and it printed flawlessly.

I don't care if it DID hurt like a b*tch, the most recent pics of you make me want plastics SO bad!
You look amazing and I can't wait for the day when you feel as good as you look honey.

Those jeans are just too cute.

It's been exactly 2 months today and even last night the muscle cramping was SO Bad. I thought plastics, if I had no complications, would be addictive, like I'd want MORE and to fix all the problems. Umm heck no. Now I'm terrified to do the arms and boobs because the LBL hurts SO dang bad. I'm telling you, I still go to bed at 8-9pm and there is no such thing as enough sleep. It will so be worth it when it no longer hurts though. Already I love the functional advantages, like no more infections.

I LOVE the jeans. They were an awesome present. Now I have 2 pairs of jeans that fit which really helps me not wear the same thing to work every day. :)

p.s. My surgeon was a ba$tard for sure, but did an AWESOME job. I hated him as a doctor, but the result is why it cost me $19k and not the 11k you see other people post about. Don't go cheap.

just wondering...why did you do the lbl first and not the arms/boobs? i saw that plastic surgery post in wls over the weekend and lbl sounds so awful. so i think i might start with arms/boobs in case it ends there...

I really needed the LBL for medical reasons first (major infection problem, plus I was peeing sideways).

Ahahaha! Thank you! My entire torso was cut from my body, lifted up like tights, and sewn back together all around, but my butt was totally flat. I have worked super hard and my physical therapist has me doing butt exercises twice a day every single day and I"m also doing weights, so my butt is getting better each week! The jeans are helpful to that too. :)

Also, I do squats regularly. I suggest those as an awesome leg and butt exercise. You can do those to reach down and it will make you strong and also be practical as you need to reach the floor anyhow to grab your baby.

I saw your before and after pics. If/when I finally get the weight off and go and get myself fixed, I'm going to request that my extra skin get sent off to a tannery. I want a belt of my own skin, just as a reminder. Which officially makes me look like a serial killer online but...meh.

Every time I lift up T, I'm in a squat. Hell, I birthed him like that. Woot.

I donated my extra skin and tissue to burn victims and re constructive surgery recipients like those who are rebuilding after cancer. I really liked that my doctor had a program (one of the few in the country) that will do that. It took lots of forms and hours of work to participate, but it makes me feel good that my pain may have helped someone who really needed it. They only harvested 13lbs total, but I've lost some since then and most of it was skin.

Do I regret my plastics? No, but it hurt SO bad. I'm glad I didn't know it would hurt for that long. It's been over 2 months and it still hurts daily.

I'm too afraid to do my arms and boobs, so the LBL is going to do it for me, at least for now.

your arms and boobs look good! why would you want to have 'em done?

I really just want my tummy and arms right now. I hate them with a passion and I have biceps trying to poke through (I have 2 30+ lb. kids that I carry regularly!) but the flab holds it back :/

Did you have a plastic surgeon do it, or your bariatric doctor? my parents both had tummy tucks from the bariatric doctor and I want a plastic surgeon to do mine. Can you tell me what hurts? What all did you have done?

My arms and boobs only look ok in clothes.

I had a lower body lift plus vertical incision. They found my ab muscles were WAY too far apart and had to resew all of them, which is one reason why my surgery hurt so badly. I have 60" if incisions (now scars). All the way around my hips, and from crotch to mid breast up the middle of my torso.

Forgot to say, I paid out of pocket $19k for the surgery and haven't gotten a penny back despite the fact I had multiple infections and my belly button was caved in and a note that it was medically needed.

My plastics doc specializes in post weight loss body re contouring and is the best surgeon in the state in terms of results and a low kill rate. However, he's a total ass and I'd never work with him again. His idea of pain control is "take a tylenol" when you are in agony.

holy shit.

I am so sorry. I can't imagine. I hope that they gave you good pain killers. Can you wear a bikini?

Here's the sort of swimsuit I can wear. http://starrynytes4me.livejournal.com/1639987.html

They did NOT give me good painkillers. It royally sucked. I won't see that surgeon again because of his poor pain management skills.

Looking hot there gf! I'm hitting the thrift store next week. What sizes should I look for for you? I have a few wool sweaters which may have been shrunk more than I can handle so if they're too small, I may send them along to you..

Awesome! If you ever find any Calvin Klein jeans in size 4 for cheap, alert me. They fit me so well, but besides the one pair they had at Ross (low rise-boot cut or flare cut), I haven't been able to afford that brand, so I'm on high alert for those. :)

Thank you! You can tell I'm still tired and in pain, but it's getting better.

Are you a small in tops now? Will you wear wool? Turtleneck sweaters? I'm on the hunt for winter stuff now I think. But I wear a medium now so if I'm finding lovely things in a small, I could also pick them up and send them along. Usually it's like $2 per garment. I love my thrift store.

It usually just rains here, so generally I don't wear wool except for my coat. I had a peacoat, but it's size L, so I'm on the lookout for an affordable coat, but I can still wear last years' coat until I find one. I wear size Sm, but not in Jrs. I have lots of things that are long and warm, but I need things that go just to the waist.

I have a coupon for free shipping for the rest of this week for orders from the mjrsales.com website and eBay site - remember, it's the place that has the warehouse here locally and sells clothes from Victoria's Secret (Moda)? You can snipe some really really cheap deals, esp. off eBay, and with free shipping, it's almost free! Other than no returns, and needing to read descriptions for any marks or damage, there really is no catch. Let me know if this interests you and I'll dig up the shipping code and get you better links.

They get you on the S&H charges - but I seem to get a free shipping coupon at least once per month, at least I have so far. If I get one later in Sept., I'll forward it to you :)
