Happy Weekend. [May. 26th, 2008|08:13 pm]

[Current Mood |cheerfulcheerful]

Today was a nice cherry on top of an awesome weekend! Went over to my Mom's house and she made us BBQ hamburgers with watermelon. So classic. She finished up by making us homemade milkshakes. I had about 1/4 cup of a vanilla one it was good.

My Mom said she never uses her toaster oven and we could borrow hers for awhile. That's really sweet! I use mine all of the time, mostly because I am reheating what I didn't eat over and over and I like crispy things, no mushy microwaved things. We'll order a good one, but until it arrives I have one.

We then went and got groceries which was UGH expensive. I have protein bars and lots of things to cook for this week as well as lunch stuff to pack.
I feel like I had a whole vacation I'm so relaxed from spending time with the people I love for an extra day. Every day we've been outside, we've been snuggling, we've been having fun together. Life is good.

Even pain level 9 didn't last all day, and today was only level 7, so I feel like I got to be myself and actually think about a few things besides just pain.

Sounds like a perfect weekend.
I can't imagine life without a toaster oven!

This weekend was perfect. Just shows you don't always have to leave home to have a fun vacation.

I should look into getting a toaster oven. Microwaving most of the things I bring back from restaurants just doesn't cover it.

I love mine! It's a great way to reheat pizza, lean pockets, make healthy faux garlic bread, toast, just about anything that you want crispy.

Pretty much everything you just listed made me drool.

God. I want some toast!

I'm glad you had a great-vacation like weekend and super glad that I got to share quite a few hours of it with you. You really needed the three days of work free time. Thank you SO much for your company shopping, your help with clothes shopping, and your overall awesomeness. I love spending time with you and Craig. Your home is so home-like and comfortable. *hugs*

(Thank you for the photos this morning. I'm going to make a phost of my own in the next few hours).

Thanks! The weekend was awesome. *hugs* Craig let me know perhaps vodka isn't my speed. ROFL. I'm in bed by 11pm anyhow, but I was crashed drunk. I had a blast anyhow.

I had a blast too. Vodka is no girl's speed, but it is fun. :) I should have stayed at your house. I passed out before I could take my clothes off properly before getting into bed, even though I was sober.

I hope to have lots more fun times with you guys. :) *hugs*
