Fish? maybe....the only thing that matters are your wheels and axles and that you put the maximum weight the contest allows. Make sure, using a T-square, that your axle is 100 percent perpendicular to the body. You can use dry graphite on the wheels. Make sure the wheels roll in a fluid way, not wobbly--you do this by adjusting the wood screw, either in or out of the axle.
Could someone build my son's derby car this year? Hubby is NOT technically inclined and I don't have the time... :) His car has sucked for hte last three years. I keep hoping he'll (hubby) will get better at it. He doesn't.
