[Current Mood |accomplishedaccomplished]

Well, it has only been knit 4 different times and taken me a year to complete due to ignoring it, but here is my scarf out of Debbie Bliss Cashmere Silk.

I think the length turned out good

I have a hard time with crochet because I'm such a tense person. I just crochet in tight little circles with way too much force.

knittinghelp.com is an awesome free resource.

I'm tense too, which is why I have a hard time knitting... the stitches get so tight after a while I end up having to unravel it and start over. Never had that problem with Crochet, but it could be the way I hold the yarn... hmmmmm....

It takes several attempts at knitting to get the tension right. Just remember, you should never ever pull with your loose yarn and your hand should just guide the yarn. The even stitches aren't made by pulling tight against the needle, but rather by making the same motion. Once I practiced a bit with that on my mind, it made my knitting much looser.

The yarn was way too expensive, but I just love how soft and warm it is. Let it snow, I say!

Thank you! I'm hoping to start a more customized item soon. I like to make my own patterns when possible, but since this one was the 5th revision, I used someone elses' pattern (mine wasn't working out).
