[Current Mood |draineddrained]

Last night it took me 1 hr and 50 minutes to drive 4 miles. My total commute yesterday was over 4 hours, and that isn't that unique this week. I was in tears. The power was out. I had the worst migraine I've had in 5 years.

I gained 4lbs overnight. Is that even possible? I ate within calories yesterday. Maybe it was the sushi (it's salty) and all of the migraine meds?

I feel absolutely wiped out. Gone. Like my unmoving face might slide right off my bones.

One of the cats pooped in the living room last night. I'll take that as a sign that they are still not getting along.

I need to find a way to cheer up. The Halloween party we've been so excited about is tonight, but with the power going off, our costumes aren't ready entirely. Not sure how to get myself going and out of this funky mood. The extra pain and weight isn't helping any today. Still within goal range, but 3lbs over goal (I was under goal yesterday).

I understand about the drive, I had a stress headache from hell that 2 muscle relaxants could do nothing about.. and I still have the dregs of today.

Wheeee.

Hopefully today goes better for you and me :)

I hope so too! No more wind storms and traffic lights out (I hope). The leaves in my yard are insane and I think the trees feel naked.

Sorry yesterday sucked.
And a 4 pound overnight gain generally only means water retention.
So the salt is a possible culprit, or your aunt flo is close by!
Either way, bloat sucks.

*HUGS*

And so you know, in the most dire costume/garb stuations super glue or fabric glue are your friend. Just glue themas you would/will sew so that if you choose to go back and sew later, it's no big deal. :)

Have fun tonight!!!!!

*hugs* Today is better. Thanks for the reminder about the glue! I have that. Besides, if it isn't perfect we'll still have fun.

I never used to get what women were freaking out about with "bloating", but now I see. Being a smaller person, even 1" means a whole pants size, so it does make your pants really uncomfortable, where before, I couldn't tell that much. I mean, I'd feel "bloated", but my pants wouldn't feel much different.

The only people that ever have "perfect csumes" are the gay guys, and people who spent far too much money on them. ;)
Truth from observation over the last 10 years of going to adult halloween parties ;)

I'm glad today is better! And a sure way to make sure you are comfy on bloating days are broomstick skirts! They do have an elastic band, but it is still a cute outfit, and no one will ever peg it as a "fat" outfit ;)

I'm sure you are still stunning, bloated and all ;)

Luckily, most of my clothes are too big. I'm also saving my size L and size 12 clothes. I'm not certain where my weight will stabalize and I really wanted to be a size 12, not a size 8, so I'd be fine with it so long as my doctor and I agree it is healthy. Regain of 20% is fairly normal within 5 years and is considered still a good result. I know what my upper limit of "too much" is.

I wasn't even thinking about that *giggle* You think things through farther than I do at times! *laugh*

I was just talking abut bloat days ;)
My gf is all of a size 2, and when she bloats, that's wat she does...it's pretydarned cute, too :)

and thanks for the 20% info, that is actually a number I didn't know!

my fav picture of you

Not sure when it was taken... few years back I am sure? but you were hanging upside down with your feet over the back of a chair? your hair was longer and kinda curly. You just looked healthy and happy and a bit more filled out? Not that you do not look great now!

don't know if you know but the doc at the dialysis clinic said:
"A person can NOT gain over 1 pound of FAT in a day, if your weight went up over 1 pound then it is FLUID so adjust accordingly to get it off your body."

so lady, you are full of fluid, drink some lemon aid (natural diuretic)

sorry about the cats not getting alone and your electricity, go visit a friend to finish the costumes?

go be beautiful (as if you can be otherwise) and have fun

Thanks! Whew, that is reassuring. I only had 910 calories and 74g protien yesterday, so I was really within what I should be eating (maybe a bit under normal, but I was nauseated with the headache).

Electric is back on (yay!) and kitties are behaving better today, at least they are not fighting.

Thanks for all of the good wishes. I'm going to go get busy on the costumes with some fabric glue (a great suggestion).

Are you certain Auntie Flo isn't making her arrival in the next few days? I always gain when she makes an appearance. And the bitch has started showing up every 24-25 days instead of 28-29.

I hope you manage to get out of your funk and your party is enjoyable. I loved your costume idea (heck it's why I added you to my flist in the first place, as I recall.)

I have endo, so I'm on the pill and don't take breaks from them. Sometimes my body rebels though. Hopefully this isn't one of the times. I'm working on the costumes now!
