What is your Everest? [May. 1st, 2006|09:44 pm]
[Current Mood |curiouscurious]

Maybe yours IS actually climbing it. Mine is the ability to run for 5 minutes without pain, the ability to look strangers in the eye, and the ability to walk around naked in the light. All sound very minor, but they aren't to me.

I started a new goal yesterday. It is to explore every park within a 15 mile radius of my condo. Sunday I hiked at Boeing Creek Park. It is a cool little park with stepping stones across the creek. The only downside was a bird pooped on my coat, but what can you do about that? This weekend I'm going to try a few more new parks, and every weekend I can where the weather is good.

Good to know! I didn't feel too lucky, but it was easy to wash out.

Parks & Things & Stuff....

There's a neat little park/hiking trail up on 900 between us here in Renton and Issaquah. I drive that route two days a week going to and coming from work. Looks like a neat place, if you like I can look into it.

Also, there's a neat little park in Bellevue that also has u-pick bloeberries, I keep meaning to take the lovely and talented dove there. It's right off Bellevue way.

Might be something to think about.

For what its worth, I'm real proud of you and how you've been handling yourself and all your challenges of late. Keep up the good work, GO YOU!!!!!!

Have a good day and a spiffy week!

Re: Parks & Things & Stuff....

I've been to Tiger Mountain a few times,..is that what you are talking about? And thanks,..my progress is happening, maybe not a fast or complication free as I would hope for, but things really are a-changing.
